Graduation short film, produced by a talented group of third year Film Production students.

A young man, Daniel, lives a mundane and unfulfilling life. Daniels works nights cleaning offices, spends his time escaping in comic books and watching couples on the street. Daniel yearns for a sense of purpose, through intimacy. A chance encounter with a prostitute, Maggie, leaves Daniel desiring her, believing she can fill his empty void. After gaining the courage to ask her out, the two share an awkward cafe date containing a box of chocolates for Maggie and a list of scribbled down dating questions on the palm of Daniel's hand. Maggie, pitying Daniel's naivety, is forced into leaving early to meet her sadistic drug dealer, Emmett. Daniel approaches the two of them on the street, after seeing Maggie is in danger from the abusive Emmett, Daniel attempts to stop the fight, his chance to win Maggie over, he becomes the victim, as Emmett psychotically beats him. Daniel is left where he was to begin, empty, purposeless and alone.

Shooting dates 19th-25th January 2018.

Auditions to be held on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th December at the Calder Theatre Bookshop, London.
