Hi all, this is a casting call for a first-year film production. With this being a student film unfortunately it is not a paid opportunity, however travel expenses and food will be covered on shooting days. You will receive the footage of the final piece to use towards show-reels. The location is based in Derby and there will be 2 shooting days.

SYNOPSIS – Starbucks-obsessed university student Lucas Banks arrives home to a mysterious package in the kitchen for his eccentric flatmate, Scarlet Dawson. He and his other flatmate, Lyla Welch, ponder its contents†but what’s inside is not what it seems.


CHARACTERS NEEDED -
NAME: Lucas Banks
GENDER: Male
AGE: 18 – 25
Lucas is a very self-assured person, although he’s very extroverted and like-able he takes no nonsense from others. He tends to over-exaggerate his actions in a flamboyant, sassy way.

NAME: Lyla Welch
GENDER: Female
AGE: 18 – 25
Despite her small frame, Lyla is always the loudest and biggest personality in the room. Coming from a large and noisy family, Lyla always feels like she must both overreact and overachieve in life to be noticed by others.


NAME: Scarlet Dawson
GENDER: Female
AGE: 18 - 25
Scarlet is the more unpredictable one of the group, she impulsively makes decisions without really thinking about the consequences and this can unintentionally get herself and others into trouble. She comes across as quieter and more difficult to read than most.
