Three actors required: 18-25 Elliot the apprentice. 30-50, Adam the barber and the customer 18-50.

Synopsis: Adam (41) owns a barber shop and combat gym in Newport. Adam has a past of drug abuse and a tendency towards violence. He employs his nephew, Elliot (25). Towards the end of the day Elliot reminds Adam that there's something important he want to talk to him about. Adam says it can wait until later because they have customers waiting and the day is almost finished.

A man ('The Customer') enters the shop for a haircut and shave. Adam shows him to his seat and makes idle chit chat. Elliot takes Adam aside, he tells Adam that last night in a club he saw 'The Customer' leave with Adam's girlfriend.

Adam returns to 'The Customer', attempting to contain his anger. Adam cuts 'The Customer's hair, then shaves him using an old fashioned razor - drawing a little blood. 'The Customer' pays Adam and leaves. Adam goes to him gym upstairs and furiously attacks a punching bag.


This is unpaid but we will cover food as well as travel costs up to £10 for the day of the shoot. We will need a receipt of your travel expenses.

The auditions will be on Wednesday the 3rd December.
This will be at University South Wales, Newport campus.
We will send out times on Monday the 1st of December .

We can also hold some auditions over Skype.

Shooting will take place between the 8th of December Monday to 12th of December Friday.

There will be only one day of shooting. The day has yet to be confirmed
