We are making a short film in preparation and as a promo for a feature-length film by the same name, The Wrong Goodbye. This is a moving and sometimes funny story of two brothers who struggle to deal with the effects of Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. The Alzheimer's Society will be using the feature length film to raise awareness and to help in training people to work with those living with Alzheimer's but we will also be pitching the film to broadcasters for national airing. In terms of style, if you imagine Dennis Potter meets Danny Boyle and the Cohen brothers, you'll get some idea of the direction we're going with this project. We are looking for talent over experience, and are therefore looking to audition new and inexperienced actors as well as seasoned professionals. There are a number of male and female roles to be cast for the short film, but we're also looking ahead for actors to cast in the feature. At this point, however, we are looking for a male aged 60+, a female 35-50, a female 40+, two females 65-80, one male 65-80, one male 25-30, one male 45-50 and one female 30+
