Collage Arts are looking for Actors to perform in a short film on mental health commissioned by
Haringey Council targeted at 11-16 year olds. The 4-6 minute short film will be shot on location in
the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington. This is a non-union production, and whilst there will
be a small fee paid to main cast, cost of expenses (travel and food only) will also be included. Film
experience performing in front of a camera is required for main characters and some support, but
not necessary for the smaller, non-speaking parts. Please email:

Character Profile: Germaine is a school kid suffering from anxiety and depression and is having
trouble seeking help from his parents and friends. There have been a number of factors that have
brought him to this dark place with everyday life getting harder and harder. When we join him at the
film’s start, Germaine has been avoiding his friends and they begin to question his loyalty to the
Fam. The challenges Germaine faces during the course of the film cause him into further mental
decline until he is forced to make a decision to turn his life around before it is too late.
