Synopsis:

The Pension is a short comedy about three pensioners who gain access to their pension pot as a lump sum after new government legislation. The trio decide that they are going to gamble their pensions in the hope of doubling their pots.

Character Bios:

Arthur Baker
Arthur is a smart and cunning pensioner. He is always looking out for his best friends Barry and Robert. After a long career in the steel construction industry Arthur is looking to settle down. His pension is nothing special but he has always dreamed of retiring to the French Riviera. He is slim with receding yet smart, combed hair. Arthur is from the upper midlands in England.

Robert Matthews
Robert is a larger man and is your classic grandad. He is very sleepy, quite slow but very cuddly. like his friends Arthur and Barry has spent his entire career in the steel construction industry. Robert is from the upper midlands in England. Robert is often dressed neatly but rushed. His hair is often messy and his clothes are not ironed.

Barry Walters
Barry, or Baz as he is known to his friends Arthur and Robert is a very grumpy old man, many describe him as senile and he has a very bleak view of the world. Having also worked in the steel construction industry, Barry spent his early years in east London before moving to the upper midlands where he met his friends. Barry is very rarely seen without his walking stick and trusty flat cap.
