Auditions short film ‘Encorette’ in London.

The film is a short comedy-drama about Bianca Baldwin, a singer who is into drug addiction. Her last audition for ‘Encorette’ a new Jazz band will turn very bad. Bianca has to deal with the eventual question of how dreams are the touchstones of our character.

Audition Dates:

Monday, 10th October from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Tuesday, 11th October from 6:00pm – 9:00pm

Venue :

The Albany Theatre. Douglas Way. Deptford. London SE8 4AG.

All auditions will take place in the Purple Room at The Albany Theatre
NOTE: For the audition you will be handed over the script for the role you come to audition for.

Available Roles:

• Bianca Baldwin: 25-35 years old, black beautiful, feminine. Singer involved in drugs with her music manger, Trevor, so that he can take care of her. Constantly worried, not very confident, quiet, Amercian accent
• Trevor: 30-45 years old. Black man, Jovial, energetic. A ball of fun. He is Bianca’s manager, much very mature in his words, American accent
• Sean:30-35 Black ,drug dealer, funny, comic, tough and able to kiss, American accent
• Sabrina Collins:25-3 years old, black or white stunning woman, TV host, bubbling and extraverted, American accent
• Jazz band: 1 women lead singer, 1 drum player, 1 keyboard player, 1 bass player, 1 saxophonist, 3 backup singers. ( Black African Descent)
• Paramedics :30-45 2 White Caucasian
• Casting judges: 3 judges, very confident, enthusiastic, energetic,American accent
• Extras Crowd: 100 people to queue outside a singing audition.


Filming will take place beginning the third week of November.

Compensation:

These are not paid roles. Travel expenses will be covered and ownership point in the film.
