Excellent opportunity for female actor looking to gain serious experience, and take part in exciting new web series.

The Role: Fatima, a young religious Muslim woman, mother of 3, wearing a Niqab and traditional dress.

Ages 27-45. Must be confident in front of camera, comfortable improvising, preferably comes from a middle-Eastern/ African background and has a basic understanding of Islam (with the desire to know more), and is available for rehearsals.
Shooting date tbc (mid-February).

Episode Synopsis:
Fatima, is doing her laundry at a local empty laundromat. She is reading a Koran whilst her spin cycle is working in the background. Sandra, a young, heavy set, white woman dressed in somewhat revealing sportswear in her mid 20's and a heavy cockney accent arrives to do her laundry. She is out of change and detergent (none of the dispensers are working). She asks Fatima if she can buy some off her (she doesn't want charity). Fatima hands her some detergent and this begins a conversation between them.
Sandra is not shy about saying what's on her mind, and asks Fatima many “insensitive” questions. Fatima opens up to her and also asks her about her life.
