Details:

Theatre Co. are holding auditions for THE ACCRINGTON PALS, a special production to commemorate the start of WW1.

The show will be performed at the end of June 2014, in the main auditorium of The Carriageworks theatre in Leeds. Rehearsals will begin late March 2014 in Lofthouse, Wakefield on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Auditions are open to ALL regardless of experience. We love meeting new talent and that can be found anywhere. Parts to be cast are as follows:

Eva: (17+) A confident and open girl who moves to Accrington. She has some wonderful emotional scenes.
Tom: (18+) A mature and thoughtful young man who has a unique outlook on the war.
Ralph: (18+) A bit of a “lad” who takes nothing seriously until he crumbles in fear on the frontline.

This special production is an exciting opportunity for any actor as it will be in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the First World War and the 28th June performance will be 100 years to the day Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated, thus causing the “great war”.

Auditions will be held at 7.00pm on Thursday 20th March 2014 at Lofthouse Methodist Chapel, Leeds Rd, Wakefield, WF3 3NE. It's right opposite the Royale restaurant. Here you will be required to perform a short audition piece in front of the director. If you would like an audition piece then please contact us.

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT paid work.
