Your character has been living in a world strictly controlled and presented in a way to oppress you and the rest of the population. Think Nineteen Eighty Four, Children of Men or V for Vendetta. It's as if you've been living in a dream and now you are waking up, seeing the artificial world around you for the first time and realising that now is the time to stand up against those in charge.

3 specific situations.

1 - A man sits in a car along a row of other cars, they all have dummies in the drivers seat. The man steps out and walks through the streets - we follow him until he joins a crowd engaged in a standing protest in a public square. A restrained, subtle performance needed, but we need to empathise with the character and see the world through their eyes.

2 - A woman walks through an area where objects have all been cloaked with drapes; signs, electric boxes, postboxes, telephones boxes, cars and childrens play areas - she observes these objects as she moves through them, eventually leaving the area to join the protest.

3 - Male or female - lying in a street covered by a chalk outline, several other human chalk outlines surround you. You arch up into a sitting position, looking up to the cityscape in the distance. You get up and join the walking crowds.
