Our film Mater Mortem is an intellectual ghost story, ridden with hauntology and psychoanalytical concepts, supported through a non-linear narrative. The story circulates around a beautiful grim reaper-style character who travels through time and the intricacies of limbo, searching for her deceased son. Through this, she finds herself reaping a long line of suspicious deaths, each one edging her closer to finding her son.
The roles we are currently casting are:

Jasper Harrow (male 20-30)
Jasper is a complex character. He is the son of the Mater Morter and is the subject of her motivation throughout the film. He is not as innocent as one may initially think and plays a big part of the film’s final twist. Jasper is psychotic and disturbed. He is haunted by his dark past. He excelled in his life during WW1 but now the war is over, he is forced to find a new way to survive. Jasper appears in four scenes. Twitching mannerisms inspired by David Tennant in Harry Potter - Goblet of fire
