Other States are a new Brighton based band containing members of other established Brighton bands. This video will be a live performance video with the attention focussed on the audience rather than the band. The band will only appear in silhouette. The video will contain a number of characters performing different roles in a fixed, 1 shot scene. The aim is to create a David Lynch style exploration into the subconscious, with an emphasis on the eerie and macabre. Characters and stories will be gradually added to the tableau throughout the video, culminating in a bar-room brawl between several characters. The video will be shot on a Red Epic camera at the Brighton Labour and Trades club with an emphasis on a high quality production value. We can cover expenses other than travel.
