I am looking for a confident male actor to play the main antagonist within a short film about domestic abuse ,in partner with Portsmouth City Council.

This character will play the abusive/violent husband/boyfriend to the protagonist female throughout the short film. Most abuse seen is verbal but there are instances of physical. We are looking for an actor that wouldn't look like a common type cast for the role. The character, mostly violent, does have times of affections and emotional peaks.
