I’m currently in my second year at university and am working on a project where we have to take a war poem and do our own adaptation with it.

I chose Siegfried Sassoon’s, ‘The Deathbed.’

For this adaptation instead of telling a story about a soldier dying, I wanted to do my own take on the poem and tell a story about a guy transforming into a vampire.

For this role you have to be really good with expressing pain and fear.
