Birdcage is a short thriller about the impact of social media and the internet.

The film takes place entirely within the four walls of Amelia's bedroom, a typical 14 year old girl.

She engages in an online conversation with Dan, a guy who is more than twice her age and should really know better.

Things move fast and the conversation takes a dark turn, only it's Amelia who is in control.

I'm looking for an actor to play the role of Dan - Aged late 20s to early-mid 30s.

Shooting date to be confirmed - most likely Thursday 30th or Friday 31st October. You will only be required for one shooting date.

Filming will take place in a small studio space in Sheffield.

There is no payment on offer as this is a self funded project but I will of course cover expenses and provide you with a copy of the film.

I'm ideally looking for a South Yorkshire or Northern based actor.

My previous film - A Fistful of Conkers has been shown in film festivals around the UK and Europe and won Best British Film at the British International Amateur Film Festival.
