After this year’s successful foray into Shakespeare with a well received production of The Tempest, Individual Theatre will be putting on a new production of Macbeth to be performed 25th to 28th February In Exeter and the surrounding area. A production involving: live streaming, an emphasis on Micro/Macro theatre and exploring new elements of a much loved and performed play.
We are looking to cast several performers to take part in the show: Which will involve each actor multi-roling though also given one central part. These include:
Banquo
Lady Macbeth
Lady Macduff
The Servant to Lady Macbeth
Duncan
Malcolm
Ross
Lennox
Donalbain
Macduff
Fleance
Rehearsals will begin on 5th January and run until the last production date on 28th February. All cast will need to be available on 5th January and between 21st February until 28th February. Other rehearsals will be scheduled around performers other commitments where possible.
We hope to be able to offer reasonable payment for the work you put into this, but as we are a young company and still getting on our feet, we cannot offer a fixed payment at this stage in the company’s development. This production is profit share, with all profits being shared equally amongst cast members after other expenses have been paid. Travel money will only be supplied for performance dates. The percentage for each cast member will be agreed at a later date, dependant upon size of cast, though is likely to be around 8%. All company members will also have access to a digital copy of the performance.
The audition will take place on Saturday 15th November, with group exercises and opportunities for individual performance and interviews. If you cannot attend this date, please still contact and we may be able to re-arrange for another time/date with you.
