Female - with age related hearing loss
We are producing TV commercials featuring people who have experienced age-related hearing loss and have benefited from a hearing aid. We already have a male so we are now looking for a female.

Our main criteria is that the woman should be interesting and engaging. She must come across as genuine and believable, and be comfortable in front of the camera.

We would like to see people from both ends of the age-related hearing loss spectrum: no younger than 50 – 55, up to the late 70s, even early 80s.

We will require them to have an interesting story to tell about how their hearing has affected their lives.

This could mean they have a particular job or hobby which could be featured in the commercial, such as a nurse, singer, surgeon, hospitality (hotel/restaurant), musician, pilot, teacher etc.

Equally, they could be a mother or grandparent with some anecdotes they could relate to us involving their family.

There might even be a specific story to tell. For example, a colleague recently told us how her dad had put off getting hearing aids until her wedding. He felt that without them he wouldn’t be able to take part fully in her special day. This is just one example of what must be hundreds of stories out there.

The commercials will be set partly in a Specsavers Hearing Centre and partly in a location specific to the person featured. For example, if they run a restaurant we might like to film there. So an interesting location related to them or their individual story would be useful.
