Details:
Les is a man who's happy just doing the same things day in and day out. He's fixated with sitting in his chair and just watching sport on the TV. At the start of the film, he shows very little affection for his wife and is reluctant to get involved with her schemes to get back at the annoying students. As he's dragged into joining her he begins to realise how fun this is and understands that Jean is looking for that excitement so he needs to change his ways.
