URGENT CASTING CALL – YORK
8 minute student short film shooting in and around York, March 14th and 15th. Role is unpaid, but expenses will be covered. Lead female, 20-28.

PROJECT TITLE: Midway
ROLE: Georgia, 20-28, A brash young woman who burns through friends as fast as she burns through money. Energetic, flighty and free-spirited, but has a secret desire to escape the spiral she has created.

SUMMARY: When Georgia dies in an accident, she is forced to face up to the fact that she ruined every relationship she ever had. A surreal dark comedy about detachment, and the fear of being known.

Created by a team of students with industry standard equipment, this film would be ideal for actors looking for showreel material - a copy of the final film will be provided.
