I am directing a film about a young girl who aspires to be a successful actress, but is held back by her doubtful and un-supportive father. The film revolves around an opportunity presented to the young girl (Rose) in that she has chosen to audition for a major role, she must decide between her dreams and her father (it has a happy ending, don't worry). Filming dates are currently 8th/9th April, 14th/15th April, 21st - 25th April (with the addition of 2-3 further days). In relation to location, two of the scenes will take place in Hull (one of which will be Hull New Theatre), and the third will be in Scarborough. If you are interested in knowing more about the film, and the leading role of Rose, I will be happy to give you a copy of the script. It would also be useful on my behalf if you had any available footage of your acting, perhaps from your previous short films?

Unfortunately this role will be unpaid, although I am happy to cover all expenses so that you are not out of pocket. This will be a great opportunity for everyone involved, and I will be submitting the film into as many film festivals as possible, including the Royal Television Society Student Awards as we have already had success there; coming second in the factual category with our documentary. This short film will also be submitted as my Third-Year final major project for my Degree, so I will be putting my all into it to ensure its success.
