Actors are required for a short film entitled Mind The Gap.
Audition by Cyprus DLR station starting this friday. Shooting to take place late march and through april.
We cannot pay, but we can provide you with food and travel expenses.

The film is about people from the East, West and South ends of London and the different problems that people on each end of the class divide face.

THE ROLES:
Rupert:
White, late 20's to early 30's. Successful West London banker.
He is very successful, but has difficulties relating with people. He wants to be able to form a connection with someone an attempts to date a girl, but his social ineptitude makes it difficult.
He is sweet and has passionate interests, but is rather meek and awkward.

Dennis:
White/mixed race/brown, early-mid 20's. An East End lad struggling to make ends meet after his benefits are cut off. He's forced to take a dodgy cash-in-hand job to feed his young son, but must reluctantly resort to stealing after they decide he owes them money.

I am very committed to this film and have experience directing. This will be our final year film project, but after submission it will be extended to a 30 minute film which we will send to international film festivals.
I have also written the screenplay and have been very careful to create nuanced, believable characters that are very respectful representations of their subjects.
I anticipate the atmosphere on the shoot will be very relaxed and friendly, and hopefully we will all be very close-knit. I want to work with actors that will become repeat collaborators.
