This is a casting call for three roles for the feature-length horror film "The Evil Inherent" being developed by Gibdo Productions and directed by Jonathan J Slattery.

This project is unique and exciting in many ways, predominantly in that we are shooting almost entirely on a GoPro (in 4K). We have researched and developed ways of using it in storytelling capacity, something no one every really done before. In addition, we are collaborating with GoPro users around world to provide additional footage.

The film will be retroscripted. We will provide extensive character biographies and the director will spend time with each cast member sculpting their character before we roll camera. We will shoot chronologically, the story being withheld from cast. They will discover it on scene-by-scene basis, enabling them to literally live out the story.

For the above reason, we are withholding all story details at this time.

The roles are (rough ages in brackets):

Mark (30) - Mark has pretty much everything anyone could want out of life. He is married to a beautiful woman (his childhood sweetheart), he has a decent job and he lives in a pleasant London suburb. He spends his time seeing his friends, playing 5-a-side football, mountain biking and relaxing with his wife while watching TV. He has never really had a hard day in his life, but that is about to change.

Frank (30) - Frank is the opposite to Mark. When he was younger he was happy and carefree as he followed his dream to become a biochemist, but something happened one day that killed him inside. He went a different direction with his life and although he has still achieved much that others would be envious of he is not able to enjoy it. He suffers every moment of every day.

Gemma (18) - Frank's sister Gemma is not your typical teenager. She is a smart girl and is much older, wiser and more mature than most people her age. She has a fondness for all these Japanese, in particular the martial art of Budo (the way of the samurai). She dreams of going to live in Japan one day and has already learned quite a lot of Japanese.

The shoot will take place at some point in the new year and will take around a week to complete. The film is being made on a shoestring budget so there will be no payments up-front. We will agree to deferred fees and a couple of percentage points. Although we cannot afford to pay anyone at this time, we would stress the uniqueness of this project as worth meriting serious consideration for any aspiring actor.
