We are looking for a French speaking actor to play a lead role in a short film shooting in the beginning of September in Shoreditch. Set in Mali, Youseff is the owner of an out-of-the-way bar. He runs it with his daughter, Zahra, who often acts as his translator on the rare occasion a tourist should find their way to his neck of the woods. Sometimes appearing standoffish, he has a heart of gold which shines through his language barriers.
We are open to any playing ages for this character.
