We are casting four roles in a workshop presenting 15 minutes of material from the new musical "Tears of Laughter", written by Sarah Kohl and Tomas Williamson as part of the MA Musical Theatre degree at Goldsmiths, University of London.

We will be holding online auditions on February 15 (Monday) and 16 (Tuesday). You will receive further details per email. The auditions and rehearsals will take place via Zoom and the workshop will be presented online.

The roles we are looking to fill are:
Oscar, 25-35, tenor/baritone, White / Caucasian, stand-up comedian, former knife thrower in a circus
Nancy, 55-65, alto, White / Caucasian, Oscar's mother, retired (also policewoman, landlady...)
Lilly, 25-35, mezzo-soprano, Black, stand-up comedian and Oscar's love interest
Man, 35+, baritone/bass, White / Caucasian, doctor, boss, comedy club owner, gang guy, and other roles

The positions are unpaid. The second phase in developing the project will take place in August/September, at which point some payment might be available.
