I am a fine art photographer (current student of the Royal College of Art) looking for actors to be the subjects of constructed photographs. The shoot will partially involve replicating planned choreographed movements from cuddle parties. Exploring the idea of fulfilled platonic touch.
I am looking for a mixed group of 15/20 people of various ages/gender/ethnicity etc. The majority of the group will be aged between 30 and 55 and must be over 18.
Although there will be no specific character profiles it is hugely important that you are comfortable with touching and being touched. (Always in a platonic, non-sexual way- sexual intention is prohibited- alcohol is also prohibited)
The shoot will follow the outline of a cuddle party which starts by going through the cuddle party rules (which will be followed in the shoot) this involves small groups of mini workshop activities of getting comfortable and then a more free session which I may slightly choreograph.
No hair/makeup/ clothing supplied as the idea is to be very natural and comfortable. The wardrobe specifications is that you must be completely clothed, wearing comfortable clothes eg. baggy pyjamas/ workout clothes. No jeans and nothing black is preferred. (It would be great if you could bring two options.) No shoes, just socks during the actual shoot.
