We are currently seeking Extras for several scenes for our feature length musical production "Big Society"

We require Mothers and babies for a 2 hour shoot in a supermarket in Aigburth on 6th November 2011.


We require male and female extra's to play police officers and prisoners with minimal speaking parts filming during Nov/Dec 2011 for a max of 2 evenings in Liverpool City Centre/Huyton area/Kirkby area.


We require extra's who are comfortable dancing with instruction for a large musical scene being filmed on Lark lane, Aigburth in Dec 2011/Jan 2012 one day shoot.

We are a not for profit video production and training organisation which owns the script for 'Big Society - The Musical 'and have used five exceptional local writers to develop the script. We are recognised as one of the key media organisations in Liverpool and contributes greatly to the cultural status of the city. We have won several awards for its work including that with Barnados young carers and NorthWest Disability Arts Forum.

"Big Society" is a community Musical feature film supported by Liverpool City Council, Sense of Sound, Liverpool Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual (LGBT) scene and other Northwest Community Arts initiatives. Working with established Composers, Choir groups and musicians within the city, the film is designed to unite the city's cultural scene and depict, through song and performance, modern life for residents across Merseyside.

The film is set to tour festivals in 2012 and this would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start out in the industry.

Please note that this is a low budget film and expenses will only be paid for local travel. If actors are interested in working with us on this film and live outside of the Merseyside area we will not be able to pay for these expenses.
