Nobody tells stories like The York Dungeon – exciting, scary and funny! With a full cast of brilliant actors, authentic sets and special effects, we take guests on a unique thrill-filled journey through 2000 years of York’s murky past. We are now currently recruiting Actors for our up and coming Christmas and New Year seasons. Auditions will be held on 26th November 2015.

About the role

Reporting to the Performance Manager, responsibilities will include performing a variety of different shows and characters to the highest standard in line with Dungeon Brand Guidelines, focusing on the visitor and the experience at all times. You must be flexible with your working hours, and available between 1st Dec-13th February 2016.

About you

Candidates interested in this unique and unusual role will have a performing arts/drama qualification at College level or above, an understanding of various performance styles, character building & development and improvisation skills. Previous experience in live theatrical performance, working with the public and excellent customer service skills are essential. Versatility is a must!!
