Gary is an ex-roller disco champion who now lives in Swindon Town. His world consists of a dead end job at The Famished Ferret. Never winning the Roller Disco Champion, Gary fell over and embarrassed himself throwing a huge breakaway many years ago. Gary must overcome his fear as Gretel asks him to go to the Swindon Roller Disco. Will he pluck up the courage to put his skates back on? Gary learns that he has to be himself, and does not have to be the amazing Roller Skater he was 30 years ago.
