GENERAL EVENT OVERVIEW:
We are working with a well-known television channel on the launch event for their new supernatural tv series. In order to create buzz for the release of this show, we are casting for one male actor to play the part of a head scientist (theatrical energy to draw the audience in, but not a ‘mad scientist’) for an immersive experience hosted at an event in Oxford. Expected hours to be 8am-7pm, but rate is considered a day rate for up to 13h. There will be regular breaks during the activity.

CHARACTER
- Matthew Goode look-a-like (blonde also possible)
- 30s
- RP (heightened RP)
- Actor should have gravitas whilst being engaging
- Good physicality, as there will be projections of the performance (no sound) throughout the venue
- We are very open to developing the character and storyline specifics of this event, provided it works within the context of the experience. Impress us with your creativity.

SELF TAPE REQUIREMENTS

- Take 1: short monologue/ story/ experience in the style of the character (max 1 minute) include props/ effects/ there are no boundaries for creativity. Physicality is very important
- Take 2: Introduction, chat about immersive event experience, where you’re based, relevant experience in the role of a professor
