Film co. are looking for cast to collaborate on our latest short film, Captive.

Captive is an intense, supernatural thriller loosely based on an old Thai legend about a malevolent spirit called the “Phi Pop”...a female spirit which inhabits the living and turns them into cannibalistic killers.

The film will be helmed by award winning Director Richard D. Kinsella.

Shooting will take place over 5 days near Delamere Forest in Manchester from 16th to 20th April .

Casting Breakdown

Male lead, 35-45 (Any Ethnicity) ALEX OSMAN, the loyal husband desperately searching for his wife who disappeared months ago. Required 5 days.

Female lead, 30-40 (Any Ethnicity) JESSICA OSMAN, a loving wife... and a fierce, demonic creature. Role will require some make-up and a lot of energy! Required 5 days.


Physically Strong Male Playing range 40+ to play the imposing figure of “THE WELDER”, the films dark presence.
Actor required 4 days.

Young Female Playing range 15-23. GRACE, the daughter of "The Welder". A short but demanding role requiring highly intensive acting. Role will require make-up. Actor needed for 2 days.

Male 30+. JOHN, Car driver and witness to an assault on a woman. Small speaking part needed for Half-day.

Female 30+ to play, CARA, the wife of the driver. Non-speaking role, but critical to the story. She is infected with a demonic entity! Needed for Half-day.
