The Moat Players are proud to announce that this Christmas we will be performing Sinbad the Sailor, a family pantomime by TLC Creative

We will be holding open auditions on Sunday 8th June 2014 from 19:30 at St Mary’s Church Hall.

All are welcome to attend and audition for the following roles;

The Princess Scheherazade Our Heroine. The daughter of the Sultan
Sinbad Principal Boy A deck hand who aspires to great things!
Dame Peony Poopdeck Captain of the ship
Mustapha Sickbag Sinbad’s best friend. An idiot.
Sultan Pepa Ruler of the city and father of the princess
Halapena The Wicked villan. An evil sorceress
Hardtack Halapena’s dumb henchman
Weevil Halapena’s more devious but equally dumb henchman
The Seer Part narrator, part mysterious helper
Chorus – City folk, guards, members of the court, mythical creatures, natives, sailors, monsters, skeleton warriors and other beings met on the quest!

Rehearsals will commence in September 2014, each Thursday and Sunday from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Performances are scheduled for the evenings of the 11th, 12th & 13th December 2014 with a matinee to be held on the afternoon of 13th December.

We are also looking for back stage crew to support our team in lighting, sound, F.O.H, props, costume, scenery. No previous experience is necessary just the desire to get stuck in and become part of our team.
