Details:

A Presenter driven Documentary, centred around Robert Howlett’s famous 19th centuary photo “Isambard Kingdom Brunel and the Launching Chains of The Great Eastern (1857)” and how this one photo represents industrial Britain at the fore front of the world, pulling it into a new age.

Our aim is to gain an understanding of just how significant this photo is by chatting to various historians and photo analysts. We’ll eventually finish off by recreating the photo in a Modern day 21st centaury version of its original setting – Burrell’ Wharf, Millwall, London. To show just how much Britain has changed and has been influenced by Brunel\\\'s work.

We are looking to audition through Skype, or in Southampton from 18th - 22nd of January. We will be looking to shoot through February to March. Dates will depend on the availability of the Applicant.

The shooting locations will be primarily based in Bristol, London and potentially Bath and Cornwall.

We have a small budget, fees will be negotiated after the audition process.
