Actors wanted for Short-Film destined for International Film Festivals!
Job ID: 8557
Job Specifics:

Details:
This film is is likened to that of ‘Vanilla Sky’ and ‘Synecdoche, New York’. It’s a short film that deals with loneliness, love and the and gives the viewer a window into the mind of a girl who is slowly losing her grip on reality; is it her bitter, lonesome existence which is causing the problem or could it actually be the happiness she feels with the boy of her dreams that is her downfall?
The film is being shot in Lancaster, United Kingdom. This is being funded totally off of my own back, but we are looking to crowd fund this project - and if successful this will turn into a PAID role, but at the moment this is an UNPAID role. However we are taking this to international film festivals and as such would be a fantastic opportunity to be seen on the international platform!
CHARACTERS :
IRIS [Age 21] : Iris a young student at university who is slowly losing her grip on reality. She is very shy and locks herself away from the outside.
She is vulnerable and the actress partaking the role must be a very good physical performer to successfully convey the inner turmoil she is facing.
DEE [Age 21] : Dee is a handsome young man,he is almost the male carbon copy of Iris, very shy and withdrawn. However he possesses the traits that iris dreams for (Charm, Love and Kindness)
ANGELA [Age 21] : House mate of Iris, she always has Iris' intentions at heart but is easily persuaded otherwise by her boyfriend Jack whom she is involved in an abusive relationship with.
JACK [Age 20] : Jack is a 'lads lad' whom enjoys drinking heavily and is more focused on the social life of university than the degree.
He is cocky but in almost a forgivable 'boys will be boys' way.
