Details:

I am developing a feature film over the next year as part of my final MA year with Raindance Film Festival. As part of the script development I want to hold a improv actors workshop where I can explore the characters with a talented cast. This session will be filmed and parts written into the final script for the feature film. The film is called \'The Strongroom\' and it\'s about a group of people who hide underneath a restaurant in Whitechapel, London during a suspected terrorist attack. While they are down in the kitchen xenophobia takes over before they realise that this is no normal terrorist attack. There are 5 main characters so will be looking to fill those roles for this improv session. Everyone will get a copy of the footage should they wish to have it. I\'m looking for actors who have had some formal training. I don\'t have time to audition so I\'m only accepting applications with showreels or other video footage of them acting. Please send this along with a sentence about why you think you would be good at improv.

He has tried to turn his life around since the birth of his daughter who is now 3 years old. This job at the restaurant means a lot to him and he is very grateful to the manager for this chance. Kamal has natural leadership qualities but sometimes his lack of confidence can hold him back and he is easily rattled.

He has strong views that have been stirred up more recently due to Brexit and the terror threat of islamic state. He has issues with Kamal in particular who he sees as not really British. Is passive aggressive most of the time. However underneath it all he can be surprisingly selfless in more serious situations.

She has a tendency to look down on others and has quite a quick temper when she does not get her own way. She does however have a large fear of being alone which does affect her decision making. She often volunteers to help in certain situations so not to be forgotten and stay part of the group.

Name: Victoria Occupation: Student Age: 15 Nationality: British Physique: Slender Biggest Fear:Being disrespected for her privileged upbringing. Grand-daughter of Audrey, Victoria was brought up with a silver spoon in her mouth thanks to the wealth accumulated by her grandad and father. She is now coming to an age where she is starting to see things that are wrong with the world. She has even began to loathe herself due to where our family’s money came from. She can be slightly hypocritical & confused with her views on certain topics.

Name: Audrey Occupation: Retired Age: 78 Nationality: British Physique: Frail Biggest Fear:People who are different to her Audrey is proud to be British and believes the British Empire was the best time to be alive.
