Hello,

I am currently planning an exciting new project which is an art film concerning the commercialisation of the female body in media and contemporary culture. The piece will approach the topic in a new and visually intriguing way.

The idea is quite complex, so this is a very brief plot. The film opens in an art gallery full of art critics and paparazzi who are all anticipating a reveal of a sculpture in the middle of the space. Once revealed we see the sculpture of a beautiful woman made entirely of desserts. The art critics and paparazzi knock down the velvet rope and literally begin to eat the sculpture away revealing the body of an actual woman underneath. The dessert layer on top of the real body represents the manufactured layers of Photoshop, excessive make-up, etc.--it is a layer to be consumed, judged and devoured by the public and is completely removed from what the female body is really like. The men will be tearing the sculpture apart in the way that lions would be taking down a wilderbeast in the African savana--I believe it\'s similar to how the scrutiny women face while appearing on magazine covers and billboards. I want to show that there is a real body and a real person underneath the dessert layer that is designed for glutonous consumption.

I am looking for actors with a lot of personality and strong screen presence who will be able to capture the brutality of consumption in their performance. There are no spoken lines, therefore, your body performance and facial expressions are crucial.

The film will be shot in OneRedEye studio by a cinematographer whose previous work includes Jessie J, Cheryl Cole and many other exciting promos, therefore, the film will be fantastic showreel material. We are shooting on the same camera that is used in major motion pictures, and the video will look beautiful. The director\'s previous work premiered on major internet platforms and so will this film which will guarantee a lot of exposure.

It is a fully self-funded project, and I can only offer a small fee, but you will be rewarded with access to the footage and beautiful showreel material.
