The POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride is a fantastic opportunity to take part in an all action and adventure event fully licensed in association with Warner Brothers and Rail Events Inc.
Live the magic as we bring to life the fabulous characters from the smash hit motion picture.

CONDUCTOR
Profile: Male; 20-60 slim/average build
Do you fancy a Tom Hanks challenge? If you enjoy engaging, have bundles of energy and can hold a character over a period of time this role might suit. Previous impro experience, good timing and developed American accent an advantage. The ability to perform as a member of a team is essential.

HOBO
Profile: Male; 20-60 slim/average build
This role is an excellent challenge and requires someone to really take ownership. The ability to hold a character for an extended period whilst improvising within interaction with the audience is essential as is bundles of energy and enthusiasm. An American accent essential. The ability to perform as a part of a team is essential.

SANTA CLAUS
Profile: Male; 30-60 large build
The big man himself! A good disposition and interactive skills are required here as well as the ability to hold a character for an extended period. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. A real white beard would desirable but not essential. The ability to perform as a part of a team is essential.

DANCING CHEFS & ELVES
Profile: Male & Female; 18-60
Personality and energy are the key elements required for our dancing chefs and naughty elves. The ability to follow some choreography and a good singing voice desirable but a mixture of talents are required. Previous experience with impro and/or entertaining children an advantage. The ability to perform as a part of a team is essential.

Audition dates will be confirmed upon application.
Show running mid November- 31stth December 2014
Full schedule will be confirmed on application on set times will vary, finish up approx. 2100hrs (Set location is Weardale Railway, Stanhope. Yes, we perform on a real moving train). We will have transportation running from key surrounding areas, please check your area on application if this is a requirement.
