Philpott Design Ltd in association with Lunar Nights are seeking 3 female and 3 male actors for an immersive theatre production (Together 1.0) involving interactive performances at a series of high profile events dedicated to fundraising for the final production (Together 2.0) later in the year - for which you will also be considered. These performances are part of our creative process: you will be developing the script, characters and staging of the final production with the award winning team.

"Together" is a ferocious ensemble piece performed in Forum Theatre style. The characters include a master of ceremonies, a hedonistic anti hero(ine), a political agitator and two people just trying to get on in life in a messed up world. Their ages vary from 20s through to 40s. Their world is difficult to navigate and they are all in this together.

Dates
There will be a workshop audition to be held Sat 16th May in London from 10am.There will be a minimum of five two-hour rehearsals arranged to be flexible around the actors. The first performance is set for 5th June, with other yet to be confirmed performances in the Waterloo area. To confirm this casting is for Together 1.0 in June only at this stage.

Fee
Together Project is part-funded by Arts Council England and is also relying on fundraising. We are offering a set fee for the process meeting National Minimum Wage standards, with other negotiations and a potential to continue in the process.

TOGETHER 1.0
THE FUNDRAISER
This event is a night of extreme fun. We use set design, actors, dancers, DJs, bands and visuals to create a utopian world. With changes in sound, lighting and visuals this becomes dystopic and then a revolutionary reality. There will be other activities signaling these thematic shifts – dancers in suits, theatrical make up (scarring and lesions!) and revolutionary costumes and make-up for people to go wild with.

THE IMMERSIVE THEATRE SHOW
With a strong story and compelling characters, with bold sets and beautiful design, we draw people into a utopian world. Together are a ‘don’t be evil’ organisation, with similarities to your big search engines. They promise to cure near absolute infertility with mass trials of a new drug. Following four characters (a doctor a trial patient, an intersex patient and a megalomaniac showman) each audience member makes personal choices that may or may not reveal their dystopian reality and which may or may not, lead them to revolution.
