Details:
Synopsis:
Charlie is a short film about a lonely late twenties gone forty hiker, who lives alone in his caravan and spends most days away from the public and in the valleys of the surrounding area. One night, whilst inside his caravan, there's a knock on the door and a young twenty-something year old girl, Hannah, is stood there, drenched by the rain, hoping for some shelter for the night. A story of discovery, new feelings and new friendships sparks in this short tale.
Characters:
Charlie: Charlie is a twenty-seven year old man with a large black beard and scraggy hair, making him look close to forty. Having lived alone for many years, he is lonely, but used to his own company. The kind of man you'd associate with being a lumberjack.
He has a strong Derbyshire accent.
No nudity required, but Charlie & Hannah do share a kiss with each others, so please be comfortable with this before applying.
Hannah: Aged 23. Hannah is an out-of-this-world girl with great, but crazy hair and a style to match. She's so outgoing that she decides to knock onto a strangers caravan door to ask for shelter, without thinking about the consequences. She also has a dog, though the dog is never seen.
No nudity required, but Charlie & Hannah do share a kiss with each others, so please be comfortable with this before applying.
She has a Derbyshire accent.
Billy: Aged 65. Only appearing as a walker on the top of Mam Tor, Billy is an old man that loves to take walks on his own. He speaks to Charlie about a death that has happened, of which relates later in the story.
You need to be fit enough to walk up hills!
Has a northern accent (preferably Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Mancunian)
