Set in an alternate reality, modern day, where loan sharks are hitmen, Terry and his wife, Liz, are crippled with anxiety due to the disappearance of Liz's father at the hands of a Shark. Unbeknownst to Liz, Terry has also piled up a large debt, and now it's time to pay. ​
In a bid to protect himself and avoid the truth coming out, a cat and mouse chase ensues between Terry and a particularly persistent loan shark. After a surprising climax, our protagonist finds himself with a debt heavier than he could've imagined.​
