We are currently holding auditions for a twenty minute short film, produced in Glasgow. Casting is open for the following roles:

ONE MALE, TWO FEMALE | UNPAID (catering provided)

SYNOPSIS: RECOGNITION
Recognition is a short film about memory and living in the past. Jo’s father Frederick suffers from severe memory loss – he remembers nothing, and is unable to create new memories. When a Doctor Yale claims his unique provision ‘Recognition Facilities’ can cure Frederick, Jo has to prepare for the deep exploration of her memories, and the possibility that her father might be gone forever.

AUDITION DATES: **THURSDAY 12TH FEBRUARY 2015**

ROLES:

Joanne (Female, 25-35)
Joanne (‘Jo’) has been hardened by the loss and grief she’s suffered in the past. She brings her father in for the procedure with a renewed sense of hope. The procedure is an emotional journey for her that she’ll never forget.

Dr Yale (Male, 35-55)
Doctor Yale is a specialist in memory, but he learns through Frederick’s procedure. There is a battle in him between the artist and the scientist, so he is both somewhat detached, and sentimental.

Anne (Female, 30-40)
Anne is Jo’s mother and was Frederick’s wife. Having died from cancer 11 years before the film is set, she only appears in memories.
