Job Specifics:
Details:
We are looking for a group of actors with a passion for comedy, ideally based in East London (partly shooting in Epping Forest).
This will be the second film for our company Bad Day Films- a production company founded by two London Film School Graduates - entitled "Beware The Viewler".
A comedy short following the journey of Jimmy, a young, naive man attempting to cross a dark wood, home to the notorious "Viewler": a beast who attacks those not looking at their phones.
We will cut from Jimmy's trials (shot via selfie stick) to interviews with those who've encountered the Viewler, those impersonating it and those cheering Jimmy on, pushing him towards his final goal of delivering a full bag of shopping to his elderly mother.
Our main focus with this project is simple: to have fun. We're looking for the following cast:
- Jimmy (age: 18-23) - a mommy's boy. slim, naive and loveable.
- Jimmy's mum (age 55-60) - smiley, but with a fierce side.
- Professor Knobs (age 40-45) - a bumbling Viewler expert.
- Dennis (age 18-23) - an over confident Viewler impersonator and host of an online prank channel
- Harry Ham - (age 60-70) - local farmer, Viewler survivor and energy drink enthusiast.
