Gemma is a woman who is struggling to hold on to her identity. Selfish, irresponsible and absent, her personal demons have led her on a long road of heartbreak and disappointment leading to drug addiction and a fractured relationship with her 10-year-old son Alex. Uncertain of her self-worth, she is attempting to figure out if she herself is even salvageable.
