Details:
Casting for the social realism drama short film ‘Leah’. Influenced by ‘Fish Tank’, ‘Wasp’, and ‘About a Girl’.
A confident 16 year old Leah reacts to life in her social class and discusses the struggles of growing up in this world. Leah is a rough end girl who is clearly at the lower end of the social hierarchy, who is heavily bullied at school. Leah discusses her situation and ulitmately confronts her issues.
We are trying to cast actor for Leah\'s mother, Jane.
Character: Female, late 30s. The downtrodden mother of Leah who has little hope for the world around her.
