Casting for a Young woman of ASIAN descent to play role of Muslim Female Boxer and a Middle-Aged Male to play the role of an academic member of staff.

Logline:
A young lady gets a call testing her choice to go to university deserting her enthusiasm of boxing for good.

Short Synopsis:
After Farah’s last boxing match, she retires to the locker room where she proceeds to take off her boxing gear and hand wrap. She receives a call from a member of staff of the university she is due to start in a few weeks time who provokes her choice to go to the college and abandon boxing for good.
Distressed, Farah questions his concern, however she at that point discovers that he had lost a loved one from a situation similar to Farah’s. Mr Clark leaves Farah with the time she has left to cancel her application, in the event that she alters her opinion. But is Farah willing to ‘Hold On’?

`OPEN CASTING AUDITION WILL BE TAKING PLACE THIS SATURDAY- 28/10/2017 At SPACE 129-131 Mare St, Hackney, London E8 3RH.

Arrive on time at 2pm as auditions will be offered on a first-come-first-serve-basis. DOORS CLOSE AT 2.30PM.
The script will be given at hand on the day of the audition and you will have time to read it through.
