Details:
A film production company are delighted to announce that they are looking for exciting talent for their new production, I LOVE YOU TRULY. It will be directed by filmmaker Ian Woodward, recipient of more than 120 international awards, including 58 “Best Film” and “Best-in-Category” awards, with screenings in 34 countries. His new film musical, I’LL WALK WITH GOD, premiered earlier this year, has to date won more than 20 major awards including Best International Musical Drama, Best Foreign Musical, Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards – all at film festivals across the United States – and the prize of Best Short Film Under 40 Minutes at The Near Nazareth Festival in Israel. I LOVE YOU TRULY, similarly, will be screened at festival around the world and bring huge international exposure to its stars.
I LOVE YOU TRULY will be made in and around Kings Langley (25 minutes from London Euston). Filming will be done by Encore Films (UK) over a five and half weeks between 4 August and 9 September 2016 (subject to change). This will not be continuous filming. Filming will entail two or three shoot dates each week during the shooting period.
I LOVE YOU TRULY has as its impetus the simple truth that true love is a condition comprising a constant state of anxiety, a battlefield, sleepless nights, asking ourselves all the time if we're doing the right thing. I LOVE YOU TRULY explores in words, music, song and moving images the on-off-on-off relationship of a young woman and a young man as they slowly begin to find out more things about each other and experience true love for the first time. It is a story of two exceptional people building trust and finding a soul mate who they hope will be with them forever. At the outset, the film requires two leading actors of a playing age of 30 who can portray the full gamut of emotions that the young woman and the young man experience on their fateful journey together – and they have to be able to do this by relying on pure acting alone, with expression and through body language, for there is no dialogue as such. Their thoughts and longings are expressed in the intimate, confessional poems they write to each other, revelations we hear onscreen by voiceovers. Poems of passion and despair as they discover that romantic love doesn't bring and never has brought total happiness. The paradoxical truism of love is that it instills in the participants the polar emotions of agony and ecstasy, for neither condition is immune from the other. This is what lies at the heart of I LOVE YOU TRULY.
