We are inviting actors to perform a series of new plays with us up at the Bread & Roses Theatre in Clapham this October 2016. The plays will explore themes of sexuality, identity and the human experience and collectively form a performance-event entitled “Shred” that aims to showcase new LGBTQ writing for a London audience.

We are keen to find actors able to respond to a demanding work structure within a short rehearsal time-frame. Actors must be comfortable learning lines from an extract of a new play – and open to rehearse movement sequences for the transitions between scenes. Previous professional experience in Theatre is desirable, but not essential.

Although the experience is unpaid, actors cast in Shred will be considered to continue their roles at ICT, Equity or Pre-agreed rates if the plays are developed further. You will also be given 1 complimentary ticket for performance should you wish to invite agents/casting directors.
