Details:

Looking for actors for our final year docufiction film. Our film is set in a version of the future in which women have been banned from the workplace in a particular UK city. Horrors and abuse happen behind closed doors until one woman escapes and starts campaigning for its end. The film aims to highlight the hypocrisy of how women who are sexually harassed/abused are treated. Please feel free to ask for more details.

We are in need of one male actor to play the lead politician of this city. He is the most hypocritical element of the film. He is very much in favour of the segregation of women until it works in his favour for him to not be. He is the main antagonist of the film. Needs to look middle-aged and have an air of superiority about him.

We are in need of one main female actor to play our protagonist, the leader of the rebellion against this oppressive society. She is the main catalyst for change but ends the film being unable to speak out about what happened to her. Ideally looks mid-twenties but can also be older.

Actors will need to be good at improvisation as the film will not be fully scripted to add to the authenticity of its documentary style.

We are flexible with our shooting schedule and can work around any requirements you may have. Filming will be between the dates listed.

This would be an ideal role for someone looking to get some or further experience on camera.
Sorry that we cannot pay you as we have no budget for the film, you will be given credit for your role and can use it for your showreel if desired
