Broken and out of energy he collapses to do last prayer that allow him into a married couples home.

Linda
Linda is a caring wife who has lost all hope in her marriage. She feels lonely due to the lack of engagement from her husband, and uses any opportunity to create new relationships and help others. When she spots a dying stranger on the street, she instinctively lets him in against her husbands will. Linda finds out that both the homeless refugee and her husband have similar issues dealing with their losses.

Geoff
Geoff is a husband in his 50’s who has lost all motivation and love of life. The underlying cause of this is his son’s death in the army, however being a dominant character, he hides his insecurities and fails to open up to his wife about this and remains a grumpy, reserved man. Having difficulty dealing with change, he is so accustomed to his boring daily life that when a refugee arrives on their doorstep, he is against his entry. As we get to know the characters history more, Geoff’s mindset about foreigners changes when he discovers he can identify with their stories.
