Nexus Lab is an exciting new project offering you development/rehearsal space, a budget to produce a new piece of work and guidance throughout so that you keep to schedule and produce work of a professional standard. It doesn't matter where you are in your career; we welcome applications from aspiring artists, graduates and established professionals alike. All we do ask is that you have a passion to explore new ideas, collaborate and work collectively with a group of (5-7) like-minded people.

If your application is successful you will benefit from the following:
£200 budget to help you realise your work
Rehearsal/development space in the Nexus Lab for a period of two months - located in Leeds City Centre
Personal project page on our website which will tell the world about your progress
Retention of earnings associated to the work produced (e.g. busking, donations from industry)
Support and guidance from WYTN and our affiliates
WYTN is all about connecting creative individuals to support the development of arts and performance in our region. Art is firmly rooted in our culture as a vehicle for culture and entertainment and yet so many people working in the creative industries struggle to find people to connect and collaborate with. We want to break down these barriers and bring human interaction back into the mix, people talking and creating with each other in real time not online.

We believe that this exciting new project will not only support you as a creative individual seeking out new opportunities it will also push artistic boundaries and bring people together. We also want to champion West Yorkshire as a creative hub that succeeds independently of London.
