Super Freak - Dark Comedy Short Film

In this dark comedic tale of perceptions, emotions, and coming of age, Dave and Sally are feuding high school students who have been at odds for some time. Sally is rebellious and fairly laid back, just trying to deal with her own life, but Dave, is stressed and anxious by Sally’s supposed constant antics towards him. At a classroom meeting with Mr/Miss Higgs, their uninterested teacher, Dave has an accusation that maybe so wild, it could be true. That Sally has supernatural abilities. But more secrets are set to come out.

Role

Mr/Mrs Higgs is an exhausted and overworked teacher stuck in a job dealing with squabbling students day in day out with two in particular, Dave and Sally, a constant nightmare. He/She tries to calm down the meetings, but sometimes he’ll/she'll end up saying the wrong thing, or gets too distracted by watching his/her funny cat videos, though on this one meeting, Dave has an audacious accusation that will confuse and draw the attention of Mr/Mrs Higgs. That Sally has mysterious powers. How will Mr/Mrs Higgs deal with this escalating matter?
